During my time as an intern, I focused on automating processes for team ceremonies and researching open source tools for data monitoring.I developed two services for automating team ceremonies through Slack, one for assigning code reviews and one for pairing teammates. The code review service is a FastAPI app backed by an MSSQL database, interfacing with the Gitlab and TFS APIs to retrieve MR and repository information before sending it to Slack. The pairing service uses Gitlab scheduled pipelines and job artifacts for sending messages and maintaining state. Both of these services highly encouraged team collaboration in a remote environment.I also researched several OSS data monitoring solutions and created proof of concept tools that could integrate with our tech stack.

STC is a student-staffed computer repair shop that provides free troubleshooting, repair, data backup, part recommendations, and loaner devices to Yale's students.Working at STC as a Student Technician can be split into three different responsibilities: client communication, computer repair, and leadership. FizzBuzz is an early-stage ed-tech startup focused on educating professionals who are first time coders to take software ideas from idea to MVP.As a teaching assistant, I was responsible for the success of a cohort of 22 students. I held weekly calls with each student to further their progress through the course material and on their final projects. I also graded assignments and provided feedback.Additionally, I collected student feedback to identify strengths and weaknesses in the content, as well as strategize ways to improve student success.
