Part of the software team working with the Vehicle Control Unit of the Range Extended 7.5t truck.Joined at the company at the end of the initial product proof of concept, the emphasis had been on prototyping and was changing into development. I created a System Requirements document along with a method, rig, software tool and scripts to perform black box system testing against the System Requirements. The test environment enables black box testing to control data, electrical and CAN bus inputs and monitor electrical, data and CAN bus outputs all under the control of a bespoke script tool. Originally aimed at Software System Test the use of the rig has been expanded to include a number of hardware only tests for production testing.Introduced the company to the AutoSPICE model which is being adopted for future generations of the product. Also investigated a number of task management tools to help comply with AutoSPICE to provide management, tracking and traceability. Jira came out on top for the needs of the company, I have put together a foundation frame work for Jira to enable it to grow with feedback from team members and management.

Initially part of the Process Improvement focusing on quality, qualified as a provisional AutoSPICE assessor. Working with project teams to develope quality improvements throughout the software life cycle, performing audits and supporting the route to AutoSPICE level 3 compliance.
