He also recommended and commissioned further Engineer inspections (e.g. structural and/or geotechnical), undertook and commissioned asbestos investigation and testing,undertook retaining wall surveys, and compiled all gathered information and authored reports so as to provide an overall assessment of all damage to the property and a full remediation strategy to repair the structure. Malcolm has over twelve years in the construction industry across the resources, training and project co-ordination space, in New Zealand and the UK. I taught at Bishop Bavin School, Johannesburg. Subjects taught included English, Maths, Sports, Music and RE. I was one of two resident house masters for the boarding pupils, and also coached various school teams, including cricket, football, basketball and rowing. Outside of school I played principal bassoon for the Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra. On completion of this period I was offered a full-time position at the school as a teacher.
