I am an experienced and highly versatile writer and editor who has spent more than three decades creating and/or polishing engaging content in both editorial and marketing domains. I was a staff writer and ad hoc editor for the Features department at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for 14 years, writing and editing music, arts and human interest stories. I freelanced for the Star-Telegram another 12 years, reinventing myself as a restaurant critic and food writer. Later, I transitioned into public relations, serving as the Communications Manager for Bass Performance Hall, a position I held for 12 years. During the pandemic, I successfully made another transition, this time into the field of healthcare as the lead U.S. Copywriter for Virbac Corp., an esteemed international animal pharmaceutical company. In 2024, I began another chapter in my career, joining the North Central Texas Council of Governments as a Communications Specialist II.
