Main responsibilities are to grow and then maintain new business.• Developed a multi-sector profitable book of business including marine risks, manufacturing, importers, contractors and resorts.• Attained Aon’s Summit Award presented for sales excellence multiple times; including two awards for both new sales and new business from existing clients.• Directly involved in both the sales and brokering of clients including placing surety for contractors and credit insurance for major importer. • Placed first group benefit client as soon as program in place; one with over 300 lives insured. • Grew Aon’s direct aboriginal business four clients in BC to over thirty including leading communities such as Cowichan Tribes, Osoyoos Indian Band and Tsawwassen First Nation. • Handled all the insurance and risk management for the Cowichan 2008 North American Indigenous Games. • Manage two sub-brokers, who market Aon’s NationsPLUS branded insurance products, including passing on new leads for the brokers, developing sales strategy and assisting brokering and closing business once contact is made.
