● Greet guests and patrons personally and on the telephone● Offer appropriate seating arrangements● Present menus and take orders● Ensure the quantity of menus is sufficient to cater to the number of guests● Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all orders are filled in a timely and accurate fashion● Set up dining rooms and make reservation arrangements● Maintain clean and organized tables and work area● Assist room service when and as needed● Manage event related work including setting up tables and maintaining both exterior and interior of the restaurant

· Clean tables and ensure that fresh tablecloths and mats are placed· Remove soiled dishware, glassware and flatware and deliver it to the washing area· Clean and polish counters and furniture and mop and sweep floors· Clean up spilled food and ensure that floors and counter surfaces are sanitized· Serve water to newly seated customers and inform them that they will be assisted by a waiter shortly· Provide waiters with new customer arrival especially in during peak hours· Assist waiters in serving beverages, condiments and coffee· Ensure that each table has sufficient supply of napkins and tissue paper· Keep an eye out for customers looking for service and assist them with their queries· Make sure that the restaurant area is clean at all times· Ensure that buffet tables are properly bussed and replenished as soon as any item runs out· Stock cabinets and serving areas with items such as napkins, napkin rings, ketchup, mustard and extra sets of flatware· Serve appetizers such as rolls, butter and bread and ensure that there is constant supply of ice and drinking water for customers· Clean and organize dishes in the kitchen and expedite orders on request from waiters and servers· Ensure that sufficient restaurant supplies such as linen, condiments and napkins are available at all times· Assist in clearing tables after each course and bussing them with fresh plates and glasses

• Grill requested food items in accordance to customers’ specifications and preset recipes• Manage portions of grilled food items and garnish them• Regulate temperature of broilers, grills and roasters• Wash, cut and peel meats and vegetables prior to preparing them for cooking• Taste and evaluate food items before serving• Receive raw food items from suppliers• Ensure that all supplied items are of good quality and accurate quantity• Ensure refrigeration and rotation of food items• Label food items appropriately• Discard any expired or near expiry food items• Arrange prepared food items in an aesthetic manner• Check and recheck equipment temperature to ensure accuracy of order• Maintain work area by cleaning and sanitizing constantly• Clean and sanitize grilling and broiling equipment after use• Ensure preventative and general maintenance of grilling equipment• Make sure that food items are appropriately thawed before using• Manage inventory of food supplies• Cool food items to standard temperatures before serving
