I've worked for a few years in the IT world : from fixing mainframes when a megabyte needed a large cabinet to hold it all in, through troubleshooting operating systems, being a systems engineer, a product and marketing manager, a programme manager and latterly building global alliances in the Open Source community.Also on my current agenda is building and fixing bikes. Having cycled for many years, I now volunteer for the Bike Back project in Derby, building bikes for those less fortunate. I also provide Dr Bikes services in Derby.All this whilst being an official IBM pensioner.Cycling, photography and trying to save nature are all a major part of life now.
