Hi! I’m Mal and I’m currently a data science student located in Canada. I’ve always loved sports and growing up I led my soccer and handball teams to multiple wins. At school I was also a part of theater plays, which played a big role on my communication skills— which was very important later on when I had the opportunity to talk about the future of renewable energy in Brazil at B3 (Brazilian Stock Market).In the past I attended Link School of Business for a couple of years and was also a Brand Ambassador for the university, which lead me to be a part of LSB’s international program in which I lived in Berlin, Germany, for three months developing personal growth, business experiences and soft skills. While in Europe, I had the chance to integrate the startup ecosystem, hear people’s success stories, get in touch with new technologies and learn the entrepreneurial mindset behind some of the greatest companies in the world such as Nestlé, Audi, HiveMQ, SoundClound, Starship and Wise. After all of these experiences, I started a BSc in Data Science believing it to be a big and important part of any company headed towards the future. Sustainability, Music and Technology are other interests of mine.
