• Managing local finance team to ensure compliance with all finance/tax/corporate requirements• Managing statutory and global internal audits as well as SOX requirements • Participate in Finance transformation projects• Responsibility for local tax calculation of CIT/VAT/preparing yearly FS• Support of BUMs in FP&A (AOP, monthly forecasts of sales/OPEX/HC/projects)• Ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing• Training, education and development of Finance staff

The scope of duties:- providing accounting services for several companies with foreign capital e.g. Credit Suisse, CommScope, Chipworks, Lek/Habo, Ssangyong Polska, Lemcon and others.- supervision on correct documents booking, registers for prepayments and depreciation tables - deferred tax calculation, valuation of GL positions expressed in foreign currencies- analysis of accounts- import and export transactions, EU-purchase and sales- preparing monthly CIT calculations, VAT returns as well as quarterly and yearly forms and returns such as: VAT-UE, F-01, OPI/OPE, SP, ORD-U, KZ and others- preparing yearly CIT-8 returns and financial statements- co-operation with the Statistical Office, NBP, Tax Offices- preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly reports according to clients’ requirements; international reconciliations- almost all year round - being delegated to Progress Software Ltd as the Chief Accountant’s replacement. In this period – keeping Polish books, making reconciliations, attendance in financial workshop in Holland.- cooperation with Ernst&Yong Tax Department - attendance at CIT and VAT review
