I joined Single Dealer Platform providing end-to-end solution for FX round-the-clock trading in: Cash(OTC), Options, Futures, Commodities, Orders and Algorithmic trading.Single Dealer Platform was a messaging based system integrating Java FX Pricing and Execution Gateways with Java Middleware Services and Silverlight based UI.My key responsibilities were:- various designs and implementations for Middleware Services and FX Gateways- L3 Support- close work with downstream teams on integrating FX Gateways with downstream systems- maintaining internal test environmentsKey technologies I worked with included:- clustered environment based on myChannels Nirvana messaging system- Oracle database- Spring, Hibernate/JPA- GWTThe project later merged with Prime Trade, a multi-asset trading platform, where I was responsible for FX module (gateways and the UI) based on core Java and Swing.
