I earned my degree in International Studies and Economics, with a minor in English, from City College of New York. Throughout my studies, I gained valuable experience in various roles, including as a server/manager at a Thai restaurant and as an intern at the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action. This academic foundation is complemented by a lifelong dedication to service. My passion for helping others began in childhood when I envisioned myself as a doctor traveling the world to save lives. Using my father’s old shirt as a makeshift coat and crafting a stethoscope from string and paper towels, I cared for pretend patients. This early aspiration has evolved into a focused commitment to development and international affairs. My work with the International Rescue Committee further honed my skills in communication and teamwork.Currently, I serve as a Community Associate at NYCHA, where I am dedicated to improving lives within the community. I am also participating in the COOP Careers Digital Marketing Fellowship, a selective 16-week program that provides around 200 hours of instruction and hands-on experience in SEO writing, SEM Ads, and various digital marketing platforms. This fellowship is tailored for underemployed college graduates from marginalized communities. My goal is to leverage technology and strategic planning to address social issues and foster sustainable community growth. I am eager to advance my career with organizations like the United Nations and use my skills to drive meaningful change. While my career goals have evolved, my commitment to helping and developing communities remains steadfast.
