I led email marketing, blog production, and website management for IgniteTech's enterprise software portfolio focused on digital transformation and the future of work. By studying customer sales calls, product use patterns, and marketing analytics, I designed and tested new, people-centered digital marketing approaches. That work doubled email engagement, improved digital experiences, and increased leads and retention from blue-chip clients worldwide. The company leadership also tasked me with auditing and improving the company's recruitment marketing and application process. I identified communication gaps and drop-offs in the intake process, surveyed team members, and made recommendations to put the company's ethos and its people at the forefront. We redesigned the careers page, adding transparent company stats and reviews, video testimonials from team members, and a focus on benefits as well as clarity about what to expect as an applicant.

I led marketing and communications for the Alliance française, part of a global network of French language and cultural centers, designing and launching their new website and online shop from scratch as well as a newsletter, blog, and social media content in a major brand refresh. I also managed digital platforms, ran ads, and produced design and content, in addition to working with the director on partnerships, events and outreach. Our work led to sold-out French classes and events as well as a grant for cultural programming from the Franco-German Cultural Fund. Once the pandemic hit, we quickly pivoted to a digital-first education model by building on our successful online presence.Along the way, I picked up enough French to survive in a multilingual environment and won scholarships to continue my language learning at the Alliance française in Paris and at Middlebury's L'École de français.

I coordinated across all departments, senior management, and external agencies to initiate and execute a rebrand for HRSG’s 25th anniversary. Our team designed a new brand identity, launching a redesigned logo, website, marketing collateral, and digital-first communications playbook. I also started and ran the office library, book club, and team newsletter to connect people from across the firm.

I was one of the first people hired for BerlinRosen's digital department to run digital advertising, social media management and consulting for some of the firm’s top clients including Ford Foundation, Atlantic Philanthropies, Cornell Tech, and Forest City Ratner Companies. I built and managed online communities for Brooklyn’s largest real estate development, generated leads for New York’s top tech initiative, and conducted a digital audit for a national association of healthcare executives, among other projects.

At Vera, where I interned twice, I handled website and social media communications for the Status Offense Reform Center which works with policymakers and government leaders to advance juvenile justice reform. I managed social media accounts, blogs, and the communication database, drafted content for media and publications, and researched legislation, interviewing municipal and government officials and service providers. I produced 3 blog series on juvenile justice which tripled blog views. I also published legislative analysis on Vera Institute's website.

I worked with education nonprofit Student Achievement Partners to analyze research on the implementation of the K-12 Common Core State Standards across the US. I collated national teacher survey results measuring impact and feedback from teacher engagement and summarized findings for team leads, suggesting design for more effective teacher resources. I also designed and launched the organization’s first newsletter for teachers.

Karachi, Pakistan

I won a $10,000 Davis Projects for Peace grant to restore a defunct public library in Karachi, in collaboration with local government leaders and high school students. Our 20-person team added 2,000 books and textbooks to the library's collection, reorganized shelving and furniture to support optimal learning, painted murals on the walls, and oversaw miscellaneous renovations. I also designed and taught a project management and civic responsibility curriculum for a 3-week community action workshop for the high school students.
