Malika is the Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Labhya.As the CFO she takes charge of Finance & Compliance and also leads the HR Function. However, her role as a co-founder extends beyond these responsibilities as she actively contributes to strategic decision-making across multiple departments and the organization at large.Malika's journey with Labhya stems from a personal experience that significantly influenced her perspective. Having been an academically bright student throughout her school and college, she found it extremely difficult to cope when she faced her first significant academic setback. This experience forced her to question the education system's ability to adequately prepare individuals for such real life obstacles. It was during this introspective phase that she discovered Labhya.Malika is a qualified chartered accountant and brings six years of valuable experience from her time at KPMG. During her tenure, she specialized in auditing across diverse industries, including Pharma, Manufacturing, Defense, and Telecom. This exposure to various sectors has sharpened her financial acumen and provided her with a comprehensive understanding of business operations.In addition to her accounting expertise, Malika has served as an Incubator Manager at the US Embassy. In this role, she worked closely with over 100 startups, providing invaluable business training and supporting commercialization efforts. This experience further solidified her passion for nurturing entrepreneurial ventures and driving innovation.Beyond her professional endeavors, Malika loves exploring new cuisines and embarking on new travel adventures. These personal interests reflect her zest for experiencing different cultures.
