KoPaas is an Australian tech startup headquartered in Bourke Street Melbourne. I worked remotely with them as a part of a distributed development team. In this development model, I could manage my studies with the company work and cooperate using various types of project management and communication applications like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Skype. We used the global network of workspaces of Regus during the initial state. At KoPaas, I got the rare opportunity to start working directly in the mobile application industry as an undergraduate. Hands-on experience with the latest innovative technology while mentored by super seniors in the industry like solutions architects, I was able to start my Engineering career even before passing out the university. Realtime GPS Tracking solution for driving license studentsBuilt using MeteorJS, the free and open-source isomorphic JavaScript web framework. We used this trending technology at that time because Meteor allowed us for rapid prototyping and to produce cross-platform (Android, iOS, Web) code. It integrates with MongoDB and uses the Distributed Data Protocol and a publish-subscribe pattern to automatically propagate data changes to clients.For the frontend we replaced the default MeteorjS WebView with the next trending technology, React Native. Ranking table to view university ranking with points for main sports events. 3. Social media album browser to view the latest photo albums of Moraspirit. The first version was developed using the Ionic mobile app framework.Then the second version was developed with React Native.RESTful web API as the backend.OneSignal as a reliable service to send push notification.Facebook Graph API to query data into the media album browser. The mobile app was launched successfully at the end of 2017.
