Profile bio

About Mallory D.

How can we work together to achieve a brighter future for our planet and those on it? Let's connect! I am currently the Program & Grants Manager with the Utah Clean Air Partnership, where I apply my skills in project management, grant administration, and stakeholder engagement to improve air quality. Each day, I look for new ways to drive positive change for our environment. My Master's research involved asking how we can improve education around sustainability and empower individuals to take action for collective impact. The major takeaway from this research is that we should be engaging heads, hearts, and hands to achieve transformational behavior change. When we only focus on education without emotion or skills for practical hope, we do not engage the whole learner. This is not an easy task, but if we ask ourselves how we can empower others with knowledge, emotions/values, and skills/actions, we will find more lasting and impactful outcomes.
