I was responsible for CAA compliance at the Camden site. Our Title V permit also includes compliance with CAIR/CSAPR requirements and the Boiler GACT. I was responsible for permitting new emission units, completing and submitting all required reports, and interacting with DHEC personnel when necessary. I provided backup support for RCRA compliance, including making waste characterizations, scheduling shipments, and manifesting hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Also, I provided environmental input for new projects under development.

I assumed the duties as Task Lead for the environmental compliance group, which included overall environmental staff management and maintaining an active Secret Security Clearance. I was responsible for the review of technical deliverables prepared by personnel, and I provided recommendations and feedback before delivery to the customer. I prepared cost estimates for tasks, working with technical personnel, to ensure the correct amounts are requested from the customer and review funding expenditures throughout projects to ensure the projects are on track. I assigned tasking to personnel and provide guidance as needed. I also participated in technical meetings as needed to lead the environmental group. I interfaced directly with customers on a daily basis and work with support staff to resolve any customer issues. I was responsible for tracking the completion of environmental staff required training and managing the Hendrix Operations compliance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) training requirements for all of the NSWC Crane Seaport contracts. I was also responsible for the Air Management Program, the Environmental Internal Assessment and partial responsibility for the EMS at NSWC Crane.

As an Environmental Protection Specialist with SAIC, I was in charge of the air compliance and environmental management system (EMS) programs as a contract employee for NSWC Crane, NSA Crane, and CAAA at Crane Naval Base.I completed all Title V compliance inspections, reports, and permit applications.I provided support for the Environmental Management System by assisting with ISO 14001 audits and program management. I also completed the annual internal environmental audit.
