ATG engaged over 3,000 low-income K-12 students in hands-on arts education after-school as a catalyst for building a love of learning and widening opportunities. ATG operated from 2005-2017 and was neighborhood-based, working in partnership with 17 schools and community organizations throughout NYC and Newark, NJ. Awarded 2012 New Jersey State Governor's Award for Founders and Innovators; Youth Inc. 2014 Innovators Award for Fundraising.· Responsible for the strategic direction of all fundraising, marketing and communications.· Increased philanthropic revenue 500% during tenure. Sources in order of percentage: individuals, major gifts, special events, corporate sponsorships, foundations and government sources.· Expanded programming from serving 140 children annually to 450 annually in grades K-12· Created partnerships with schools and community organizations. Oversaw hiring, training and support for a roster of 43 teaching artists and 17 partnering schools and community-based organizations in low income neighborhoods throughout New York City and Newark, NJ.
