As a Staff Writer for Spark Magazine, I am responsible for crafting engaging and impactful articles that resonate with our readers and reflect the dynamic culture and diversity of the UT Austin community. During the 2020 quarantine, I took the time to write material, record, and trademark Culture magazine, a online publication dedicated to following Black teenage girlhood.

In June 2022, I was accepted into the Spelman College College Prep Institute (CPI) program. Through this, I was presented the opportunity to apply and be accepted into the Justice For Black Girls Ambassadorship program. I engaged in a 4-week curriculum with 40 other girls from across the country. At the end of the month, I was chosen to present at the.

As the President of my school’s Black Student Alliance, I advocate for the Black student population, conduct meetings with 50+ members twice a month, and prepare presentations and activities.

As Lead Volleyball Manager at Reedy High School, I account for statistics for the varsity volleyball team, and assist the JV and Freshman teams.

While an Assistant Coach for Frisco Flyers Volleyball Club, I guided the youngest competitive age division in the club, 11U, to earn a National Bid and a 17th place spot in the National Tournament. Along with the coaching side, I helped the players evolve not only in the volleyball aspect, but in the character aspect as well.

For 7 years, I played volleyball. While my love for playing the sport faded, I still love and understand the sport in entirety. As a result, I coached and now manage volleyball teams.
