Assisted the Pacific Climate Justice team during the Pacific Island Forum and COP28 by crafting copywriting materials for supporter communications and conducting media monitoring. I also supported GPAP's legal team by transcribing interviews with Pacific Islanders for their submission to the ICJAO on climate change.

Coordinated Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) activities for all four partners of the USAID consortium grant in the Maldives, known as the Strong & Inclusive Maldivian Democracy (SIMD) program. This included the International Republican Institute (IRI), the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), National Democratic Institute (NDI), and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES). I gained experience collecting, managing and analysing quantitative and qualitative data across all of IRI's programmatic activities, including a multi-day orientation workshop for over a thousand newly elected local government officials. I also honed my written communication skills through weekly, quarterly and annual report-writing, synthesising complex program insights into concise communications. My knowledge and experience in MEL enabled me to craft and facilitate engaging multi-day trainings on monitoring and evaluation methods and practices for several civil society organisations, as well as help design MEL frameworks and systems for the Information Commission of Maldives (ICOM). Additionally, I supported senior staff with program planning and delivery by managing several impactful projects, including a national poll.

As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner, I was responsible for the operational and administrative affairs of the firm, including the filing and maintenance of company, client and case records and managing the the day-to-day correspondence in a timely manner. S&A Lawyers also had their own NGO arm, the Maldives Law Institute (MLI). When I joined, MLI had initiated the Practical Legal Training (PLT) program, which was a project run to train community paralegals in islands that did not have easy access to justice throughout the Maldives. I handled the logistics for the program, including arranging the transportation and accommodation for the attorneys, as well as providing on-site support during the trainings.

I was responsible for recruiting participants to observe in the 2018 Presidential Elections. I organized and maintained a database of elections observers, and collected the required information and documents. I also supported the Senior Project Coordinator in organising civic and voter education workshops across the Maldives prior to the election, and accompanied the project team to various islands to provide on-site support.
