I’ve been working in design for over 25 years and I’m still excited by every project. It’s an opportunity for me to meet new people and look at every challenge in a fresh way. There is so much to learn with every client, whether discovering a company’s incredible story or observing the day to day dynamics of someone’s family life, their tastes, habits and desires. I like to draw from my own background as an art historian, graphic designer, experience designer and business person, as well as the exciting projects that I’ve worked on and the many places that I’ve lived. All of this knowledge and history is a part of who I am and what I do. My time spent travelling and living in different parts of the world has given me a great appreciation for the style of Italy, the simple elegance of Scandinavia, the cool, urban chic of New York and the unique mix of tradition and edginess of London. All this has not only influenced my aesthetic, but also my way of working and interacting with people.I’ve worked with many well known clients and design firms, but I consider smaller projects equally important and give them the same level of consideration and enthusiasm. Beautiful, functional and inspirational design can be done on any scale and budget. And any new challenge is an opportunity to create something wonderful.
