My journey began in Mali West Africa where I lived until I was 13 years old. I moved to the United States in 2013 to attended high school in New York. After graduating from Our Savior New American high school I was recruited to play basketball at Rutgers University. Over the course of my life I have learned to speaks three languages, French, Bambara and English. At the end of four year years I received my Bachelors of Arts in African Studies with a minor in Liberal Studies. At that time I decided I wanted a new experience so I utilized my fifth year of eligibility and was a graduate transfer at La Salle University. In my time at La Salle I have been pursuing a second degree in Criminal Justice. My hopes are to complete my season and move on to a place that will give me the opportunity to work towards a graduate degree in Criminal Justice. I learn a lot and hard work and perseverance never stop believing in your dream.
