I am currently working as an outpatient mental health counselor in Minneapolis, Minnesota where I counsel adults, adolescents, families, minorities, and couples through challenging mental health, relational, and addiction issues. I have experience working with incarcerated males, where I provided individual counseling to clients from various cultural and criminal backgrounds struggling with addiction and psychological issues, ranging from post-traumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder, and antisocial personality disorder. My communication and organizational skills are strong. I am passionate and inquisitive, and work to instill a foundation of understanding, acceptance, and mutual respect with my clients. I utilize humor and compassion to develop rapport, and practice emotion-focused, cognitive behavioral, and trauma-focused therapies to assist my clients.
