With over 40 years of experience in the banking industry, I am passionate about creating and strengthening meaningful relationships between Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU) and the communities we serve. As the Vice President of Community Involvement, I oversee and coordinate many aspects of IMCU's community relations programs, including donations, grants, scholarships, and partnerships with local organizations and schools. I also manage and support volunteers to plan and execute various events and initiatives that promote IMCU's brand, mission, and values. Some examples of our work include hosting charity golf outings and raising $20-30,000 for local causes, coordinating food drives for local food pantries, organizing volunteers for habitat for humanity builds, leading credit union wide school supply drives, and keeping our employees engaged in our communities. I have developed and honed my skills in event planning, management, communication, and collaboration through my previous roles as AVP of Community Relations and Branch Manager at IMCU, where I also gained extensive knowledge of the banking products and services that we offer to our members. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others and to contribute to the growth and success of IMCU. I am always eager to learn new things, explore new challenges, and work with diverse and talented people who share my vision and passion for community involvement.
