I am a highly motivated individual with significant experience of working in operational, clinical, and corporate governance roles across commissioning, acute and mental health care, and being flexible and pragmatic in my approach enables me to manage and resolve situations as they arise, whether that is on an individual basis, or as part of a wider team. We are currently working on how we effectively roll out the Patient Safety Incident Frameworkand Learning from Patient Safety Events to ensure we are meeting the reporting requirements, both for our own organisation, as a system and how we report to the local ICB. I am currently studying for the Advanced Certificate in Health Service Governance, run by the Chartered Governance Institute, and I am due to complete the exam in November 2023.
