I am passionate about growing people who can grow the Kingdom of God. I’m motivated not only by seeing people develop their full potential, but by contributing to organisational structures that enable people to flourish. For Bristol Cathedral that means developing a culture of welcome and inclusion; addressing the challenges of our heritage and embracing the opportunity for transformation, restoration and creativity.My work is rooted in ministerial experience in parishes and cathedrals, resourced by ongoing engagement with developments in the academic and consultancy worlds. I have had experience in dealing with complex projects with multiple stakeholders. These have included working with civic authorities, voluntary organisations and the National Church Institutions. Past projects have included events management, change management, mediation, promoting diversity and inclusion. I have been privileged to work in, and form, high performing teams. I'm excited to grow a new team and to encounter others in partnership working.My key skills include:- Coaching, mentoring and facilitating- Preaching and teaching - Strategic planning and implementation- Change management- Reconciliation and mediationI am interested in a church which goes beyond its own comfort zones, able to serve the whole community, passionate about inclusion and celebrating diversity.
