Mandy and Shane McGregor have built their business from the ground up, commencing trading in early 2008. Now located in Troy Drive Goondiwindi, the business was established 14 years ago when they identified the need for additional service capacity in the local area for the Cotton and Agricultural Industry. The work completed by McGregor Diesel is on pumping and irrigation systems and on servicing the farming and earthmoving equipment used in that industry. In the short time the business has traded, they have moved from a single man operation working out of a utility, through two premises which were quickly outgrown and into their current site on Troy Drive. The McGregor Diesel Workshop now showcases best practice for what is required to deliver quality, reliable service to their industry. Mandy being the Office Manager, has also taken the major lead on the Navman Wireless Technology that is taking businesses forward. She is now the go to person in the district when it comes to GPS Tracking of plant and machinery, and has developed some amazing reporting tools to help you run your business. Having previous experience in the Civil Construction and Agricultural Industry, Mandy utilises her skills and experience to show business owners how they can run more efficient and effective fleets.Innovation has also been a major driver in the success of McGregor Diesel over the past 12 months. Utilising the Navman Wireless Technology which has traditionally been used only for GPS tracking of vehicles, the McGregor’s have now gone beyond the standard off the shelf service offering and developed their own technology to work in conjunction with the Navman Wireless Solution. This has allowed them to use products for water monitoring and control on irrigation farms, and even monitoring of diesel fuel levels in remote areas. Shane and Mandy’s vision for the business is clear and succinct. They will be the preferred Diesel Mechanical business in the district.
