Compiles work projects, assigns volunteers to projects, Develops, coordinates, and reports on natural history projects that are promoted and conducted by the park or for the park by specialists; collaborates with experts on land management projects within the park; Monitors and maintains inventory of assigned property to include museums, educational facilities, interpretive tools, supplies, and accessioned items, so that all property will be accounted for during inventory inspections; Pursues and follows through with grant opportunities and awards to ensure all requirements are met by the established deadlines; coordinates Leave No Trace Gold Standard Site Mentorship Program; Works with outside agencies and other park staff to coordinate community events or outreach that promotes Alabama State Parks; familiar with MegaSys reservations system; cross-trained to work in multiple departments park-wide including front desk, night audit, security, maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen sanitation, restaurant server or host.
