I am often showing potential clients and guests around the venue and tailor making packages to suit their requirements. On a weekly basis I am forecasting the annual figures for the entire venue. Annalyse the venues revenue and make year on year comparisons, which I will often format into graphs for our management meetings.I maintain and update our website and social media sites on a daily basis. Which involves ensuring all special offers are mentioned, all up to date information and brochures are on the website, as well as images and testimonials being updated.I am always seeking to source new business everyday, by targeting different business sectors. Working closely with the Managing Director I am often asked to represent the company on her behalf. Attending networking function and seminars is also a large part of my job role. This is always a great opportunity to promote the venue, as we find word of mouth is our best form of marketing.My job over all is quite varied, however it requires me to be very organised, efficient, hard working and to have great communication skills.

I have also involved been responsible for generating more business through the website; this has been achieved by initiating fresh ideas and campaigns on the website resulting in increased revenue during our quieter months. Similarly, I initiated a substantial amount of business by advertising an extremely high value offer on the Group on website, which initiated a lot of enquiries and consequently a high influx of new bookings.Acting on behalf of the Managing Director, I carry out many PA duties in my role as well as taking responsibility of office manager on a daily basis. I have arranged and attended weekly meetings with our PR Company to understand how we can promote and push the venue.
