Team Coordinator
As team coordinator to the James Project of Latin America, I oversaw all communications and scheduling of teams prior to and upon arrival to Guatemala. Delivering orientation, acting as a guide and translator, booking transportation and lodging as well as preparing a budget and schedule for in country details. I thoroughly enjoyed bringing two cultures together helping one understand the other. My job was supporting team leaders by various trainings and orientation to help them bring their best in leading their mission trip. Acting as a support to the directors, I facilitated vision trips to various stakeholders and donors while directors were out of country. My expertise on the field helped hundreds of visitors navigate a new culture and understand ways of helping without hurting. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and sharing the vision and direction of the James Project of Latin America. It is crucial that people know why the JPLA exist and the difference it is making in the lives of marginalized women and children in Guatemala.
