• Serves as the HRIS Administrator, and is responsible for ensuring the Global HR system is efficiently running to support the county’s on going needs. Develops, builds, tests, implements and maintains the HR database. Monitors Global HR software to insure security, integrity and performance. Conducts root cause analysis when issues arise and troubleshoots to resolve quickly. Runs regular audits and queries on HR data to ensure accuracy. Manage any upgrades, implementations, user interfaces and testing for new or existing system applications. Creates and maintains procedure and training manuals. Provides training to managers and staff throughout the county. Consults with the Budget Officer, County Treasurer, Payroll and IT department to streamline HR processes, improve system and resolve Global HR issues or concerns. • Administers and manages all Leave of Absence, while staying in compliance with federal law. This includes processing all leave requests, notifications, certifications and tracking from beginning to end, while maintaining the highest of confidentiality due to involvement of medical information. Track all time associated with FMLA and notify departments and employees of possible need for Extended Leave and the possible need to withdraw from the Sick Leave Pool. • Serves as back up for both HR Assistants responsible for Job Posting, application processing, Onboarding, I-9 verification, employee transfers/promotions, personnel data and Commissioner’s Court packet
