I am a fully qualified Patent Administrator having passed my CIPA examination with merit in 2004. I joined Optimus Patents in 2003 and have progressed through the ranks to Senior Patent Administrator managing a small team. My primary responsibilities are client care management and Docketing and Formalities for our many clients. In particular, I am responsible for the daily file management for all our clients ensuring all strict deadlines are met, handling all of the formalities and keeping our clients fully informed of the status of their patent portfolios. I am also responsible for preparing cost estimates and project reports for several of our clients to assist their respective budget planning activities. I am highly experienced in handling all filing matters in relation to the UK, PCT and EPO utilising the online filing software.

Working for a local firm of solicitors within their Litigation Department assisting one of the Partner with PA/Secretarial support services which covered a variety of legal aspects in litigation i.e. housing and debt collecting. I also provided back up legal secretarial support services to the Matrimonial Department, Mediation and Conveyancing Department.
