R.I.S.E, Relationship, Innovation, Success, Empowerment, is a student led program that I have now started to volunteer on as a Workshop Director of Business Communications. My role is designed to educate youth in areas the education system is lacking. Throughout this program, mentors and youths are paired together while engaging in weekly workshops, such as my expertise, business communication. We want to educate high school students on how the real world will be, and how business communications can help you. Basic interview questions, how to present yourself, and what employers look for are some main topics that will be discussed in this workshop. We feel students will be more educated with how to start off with exploring their career paths.
