Alongside this, I also assist in non-material amendment applications for large-scale development around the city.Throughout the assessment process, I engage in pre-application discussions and negotiations with applicants and their agents on their proposals in order to provide accurate planning advice and find solutions on how to make them acceptable in planning terms.In this role, I familiarised myself with up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation and policies, developed skills in communicating with members of the public and councillors, worked together with other departments within the Council such as Planning Policy Team, Highways and Landscape. I worked in the Personnel Licensing Office of CAD. My main task was to setup an online FAQ section related to flight crew licensing matters by sorting out the commonly asked questions from previous documents. I also provided administrative support for pilot examination matters.Working in CAD has broadened my knowledge in the air transport and enabled me to be flexible in different working environments.
