Supply Planning & Operations• New Product Development: Lead the new product development activity with the R&D and Production Team. • Production planning /allocation: Liaise with the production planning team for planning for production of products as per the Export Orders. Make the product delivery plan with the Operating Companies based on production capacity of Indian Units.• Inventory Planning & Control: Liaise with the procurement team for understanding the availability of the Trading Items of Export Orders.Commercials• Negotiations: with shipping lines, Terminal operators, custom house agents, forwarders, airlines and make the RFQ.• Export Benefits: Liaise with DGFT and customs to get the export Benefits of Drawback, EPCG and MEIS.• Export Documents: Check the pre-and post-shipping docs, dealing with Bank as per FEMA, follow Excise procedures. Export Logistics & Customs • Performance Monitoring and Commercial Contracts with Freight Forwarders/ CHA: Liaise with the Freight forwarders/ Shipping lines, Airlines, Terminal operators and CFS for optimization of costs.• Export/ Import Clearance: Liaise with the various departments for ensuring documentation and customs clearances for execution of the orders (shipping bills and Bill of Entry).• Third country logistics: Coordination with international warehouses to timely dispatch of third country export shipments and arrange the Logistics and clearance activities.• Coordination & Follow Up: Booking of export containers, Bill of Lading, Inspection agencies, coordination with factory/ Warehouses for timely dispatch of shipments.• Maintain MSL: Coordination with International warehouses and maintain the minimum stock level of material for timely dispatch of their Local Shipments.• Warehouse Negotiations: Negotiate with warehouse agencies for opening of International warehouses. & implement operationally

 Managing the export/ import operations. Negotiations with shipping line and Maintain RFQ. Negotiating & finalizing customs clearing agent’s agencies for export/ import clearance. Ensuring timely negotiation of export/ import documents and timely payments of all import bills. Coordinating with the vendors for arranging supplies as per schedules and inventory management. Evaluating incoming and outgoing correspondence and preparing responses as appropriate.  Vetting necessary commercial documents for pre and post shipments.  Booking of Export containers in Inttra & Shipping line sites. Ensuring the timely arrangement of Original Bill of ladings.  Arranging export/ import shipments & custom clearance. Daily negotiations with transporters for Domestic orders and Planned Logistics.
