As the National Head - Quality & New Businesses at V Mart, a Rs. 4500 crore company with more than 10,000 employees, I lead efforts to strengthen our workforce by overseeing the training of sales associates and identifying new business opportunities. A key part of my role is managing the quality of training programs aimed at equipping candidates with the skills necessary for successful careers in retail sales.I am responsible for ensuring these training programs meet the highest standards, from candidate selection and mobilization to their placement in V Mart stores and other retail outlets. This includes identifying and training youth, particularly from underserved areas, and providing them with a clear path toward employment in the retail industry.Additionally, I scout and select retail locations across the country where these trained candidates can be placed. This involves analyzing local market conditions, assessing the operational needs of our stores, and ensuring the right fit between the candidates’ skills and the business requirements. By strategically placing these individuals, I help drive both their professional development and the performance of the retail outlets they serve.In this role, I support V Mart’s growth by fostering a skilled workforce that strengthens our retail network and contributes to the economic development of the communities we serve.

Manish was closely associated with Southern Utah University, USA, DICOTI, USA, and Mineiri Associates in partnering with the Government of India to strengthen law enforcement infrastructure and services under the 12th Five Year Plan. His initiatives included specialized training programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of law enforcement personnel in areas such as:1. Anti-Hijacking (Aircraft) Operations 2. Ambush and Counter-Ambush in various terrains (hills, jungles, plains) 3. Raid and Rescue Operations 4. Cordon and Search Operations (both rural and urban environments) 5. Handling IEDs/landmines, countermeasures, and post-blast investigations 6. Response to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) attacks 7. Hostage Negotiations 8. Road opening and demining operations in jungle areas 9. VIP Protection and Convoy Movement 10. Vehicle/personnel searches and Nakabandi operationsManish also partnered with the Punjab Police to modernize their law enforcement capabilities through a wide range of training programs, incorporating expertise from global leaders including the US Special Forces and CENTCOM.Additionally, he worked with the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, on capacity-building initiatives. These projects focused on law enforcement training and employment-linked programs, with a vision to train and place 100,000 youth across the country. Manish spearheaded these efforts in collaboration with state and central governments, facilitating law enforcement training in 18 states and driving significant improvements in security and employment across India.

PES was a a training and consulting firm, formed in alliance with Mineri Associates of the US and Police Training Institute, University of Illinois, Urbana at Champaign, USA. We addressed the training needs of BHEL, BEML. NHPC, NTPC, and the behemoth MICROSOFT. We conducted Law Enforcement training, which, for the moment, stays classified.

We catered to major public utilities in India and these firms, primarily in the field of power, power transmission, power generation and industrial relations, completely outsourced their training to us.

NIS Sparta is the pioneer in training in India and is arguably the largest training organization in the world. I procured and managed the largest projects of NIS, that of Customer Goodwill for the Indian Railways and Coal India Ltd and created an alliance with the world's largest risk and disaster management firm, Marsh Crisis Consulting, USA and later with Kroll Securities, the UK to address the various crisis and disaster affecting India. In fact the National Disaster Management Agency was an after thought by the Government of India after we introduced MCC and Kroll to Indian Railways, Coal India Ltd, SAIl, GAIL etc.

Created international alliance in mining, power, steel sectors with world leaders. Manish was working as Marketing Manager in the International Business Division of Escorts Group. His assignment entailed scouting the international market for new products and cutting-edge technology, conduct market surveys and prepare feasibility studies. The companies, where these products/ services were used include Coal India Limited, Neyveli Lignite Corporation, The Singareni Coal Companies Ltd etc to name a few.Manish has identified, conducted market survey and research, and introduced new technology in India in the following fields: 1.
