As part Technology Operations team, I am responsible for providing expert level services in implementing, managing, operating and supporting the core business applications assigned to me.This role includes design, operational support, service delivery and project management.My Key Responsibilities included- Maintain good knowledge of supported applications and to continuously improve/upgrade existing systems, technology and processes.- Manage and support Finance and BPM applications and maintain Development, UAT, Staging and production environments at optimum performance level. - Maintain software repository servers.- Performing software releases for finance and BPM applications in staging and production environment.- Maintain Internal and external webservers.- Ensure backup and create DR Process foreach application and regularly update process document in case of any change.- Manage vendor cases and escalates effectively to reach quick resolution- Maintaining up-to-date systems by participating in system upgrades (hardware and software) and other general maintenance tasks to prevent any security risk.- As last point of contact for the applications, respond to critical Incidents to ensure affected services are restored as quickly as possible, and help facilitate post incident reviews to reduce reoccurrences.- Follow agreed ITIL processes for change control, incident management and problem management and ensure incidents, problems and changes are properly tracked and documented.- Proactively develop policies, procedures and documentation required to support the firm’s business applications and services- Maintain strong communication between Technology and Legal teams and different business groups.- Researches future developments and identifies areas for improvement- Maintain applications servers.

- Administration of internal PKI System consisting of Windows CA server, used for smartcards authentication and encryption of emails as well as for SSL server functionality implementation in the web servers. - Ensure that all backups are happening. Routinely test backups to ensure backups are executing properly and for data accuracy.- Disaster recovery management, and to restore OS/data/database in case of system failure. - Identifying potential issues by analyzing system event logs and troubleshooting using different tools like performance monitor, process monitor and command line.- Responsible for monitoring of servers using CA monitoring and respond to escalations.- Develop plans (architecture plans, DR plans, support plans) and schedule deployment of systems. - Review Windows Problem tickets, isolate and diagnose system issues, recommend course of resolution.- Work under ITIL framework and perform changes using change management process like submitting Request for Change (RFC), seeking approval from Change Advisory Board (CAB) and scheduling and performing actual changes on Systems.- Use problem management to minimize impact of incidents, eliminate recurring incidents, create problem record and determine root cause of problems and ensure that resolution is implemented using appropriate control procedures especially change management.
