Current• Responsible for Localisation of Import parts from Japan used in Ring frame textile machinery.Developed parts such as machined, sheet metal, Gears, springs, sintering, rubber, plastic parts and fasteners at Local suppliers.•Conducting meeting with Japanese for technical discussions & clarifications.• Prepareing documents and attend meeting with Top management for new parts & investment approvals.• Supplier audit w.r.t SQCDE & selection.• Attend Quality issues & resolve.• Purchase order preparation and confirming acceptance by supplier using P2P cycle.• Responsible for negotiating pricing and contracts terms and conditions.• Optimizing supply chain by inventory analysis and balancing inventory. Achieved 85% of assigned target.• Monitoring suppliers performance, addressing issues and conducting periodic audits to improve the suppliers’ abilities.• Responsible for ensuring compliance with the procurement process and policies of industry standards.• Collaboration between suppliers, manufacturers and internal departments like production planning, logistics, qualityand finance for seamless procurement process.• Forecasting raw material and process price trends and their impact on future business activities• Analyzing cost effectiveness of different procurement options and improving efficiency by considering factors like,quantity, quality, cost and delivery time.• Identifying and evaluating the risk related to procurement such as supply chain disruptions or quality issues.• Maintaining documentation related to procurement transactions, contracts and supplier communication.• Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to measure effectiveness of procurement functions.• Identifying problems related to 4M's, analyzing, and taking countermeasures.• Initiate Kaizen activities and Quality Control Circles (QCC) to solve the problems.
