From 2008, Waikato DHB has funded after-hours services throughout the Waikato district to reduce the work burden on the rural General Practitioners (GPs). The methods used to evaluate the process are primary and secondary research, a survey of rural sub hub GPs (Survey was conducted to capture the experience of the rural GPs of the telephone nurse triage service.
