I was working at Greenbushes Talison Lithium mine as a mechanical technician on 2:1 roster.Main scope of my role is working on pumps that includes mechanical seal barrier flushing/polishingbreaking joints and re-instatements, testing liquid's purity, hook up flushing units and perform the process,chemical cleaning of various components,Flange inspections, facing and flange management.comply with all the safety rules, following work procedures, doing all the paper work prior to work is part of everyday duties.

Main tasks on the job were looking after the crew everyday basis,attending supervisor’s meeting and conducting prestart meeting to the crew everyday. Organising all the needs for the crew and helping them out with their job scopes,making sure all the paper work has been done and signed on by all personnel prior to work and being acting supervisor in the absence of supervisor was one of the challenges on a regular basis.
