Worked on revamping the website for the Department of Artificial Intelligence at IIT Hyderabad. The role included a complete study of the department's website, building a brand style guide and colour scheme, building a wireframe, optimizing the content, designing and developing the website, ensuring safe deployment, and training in-house staff on managing the website.

Sri Sumeru Realty Pvt Ltd (SSRPL) is a construction company mostly engaged in construction projects of the Art of Living Foundation. With my past work experience of 3+ years with Hewlett Packard and ITC Ltd in the domain of supply chain management, I joined Sri Sumeru Realty Pvt Ltd as a Procurement Executive in 2015. The overall back end operations of the company was driven manually and it required automation of day to day operations. As an experienced member of the team and my past experiences in working on XLS and setting up ERP systems for new business processes in previous companies, I took over the procurement activities of the company. I was able to take responsibilities to work on different ways to automate the supply chain activities, inventory management and on reporting tools. My area of operation as Procurement Executive mainly focused on product engineering, exploring ways to reduce operational and logistic cost, new vendor development and management of existing vendors, Market surveys and Market analysis, vendor negotiations, quality analysis, generation of purchase orders, comparative analysis and record management, inventory management, vendor payment processing, forecasting, working closely with engineering teams and marketing teams for procurement planning and reporting of facts and figures to the COO and CEO of the company. Single handedly processed 285+ purchase orders in less than 6 months for 8 construction projects, total cost of procurement summing up to 12 crores with savings of more than 4.8 crores.Working in SSRPL helped me understand the loopholes of manual operations and it gave me a chance to work on those loopholes, automate certain reporting processes which resulted in significant amount of savings with respect to time and money.

I was part of the luxury collection hotels of ITC Limited. Here I worked in a team of 5 people which handled the entire supply chain activities of 3 hotels of ITC Ltd in Bangalore. In a high pressure job of handling the procurement activities of a hotel, it was a tough task in hand to deliver what is expected Just-in-time. I had taken over more than 60% of the portfolios of the entire purchase department. From Food and beverages up till imports of CAPEX goods, I handled all the activities. I also trained my colleagues and interns on purchase activities in a hotel industry. With my expertise in working on SAP platform and my proficiency in MS office, I was also part of the team which worked on implementation of SAP for upcoming hotel in Bangalore. I was also trained on six sigma and usage of quality analysis tools. I constantly worked on ways of cost reduction in regular operations and proposing ideas for process improvisation to the top management. I was the only employee in the department then, to win the Best Employee award with in a tenure of less than 1 year in the company.The entire operations were semi automated where constant improvisation was required on reducing the manual efforts. Apart from regular activities which comprised of processing purchase orders, contract management, vendor relationship management, market analysis and negotiations, I took the responsibilities of handling import activities which involved importing of goods from various parts of the world, coordination with custom handling agents and working with government authorities in customs department of India. Implemented certain reporting systems which eliminated unnecessary monitoring job and saved lot of time. My tenure in this company gave me an opportunity to work in a semi automated business operation model. Gave opportunity to understand and work directly with vendors, understand multiple factors which has impact on aspects of cost, logistics, supply and demand.

I Joined Hewlett Packard as a fresher. With my academic background of Bachelor degree in commerce and interests in finance and accounting, I was part of the mismatch resolution team which worked on resolving mismatches by reconciliation of Intra corporate accounts of HP Business Entities located in US & LAR. In my short tenure with HP, I got a chance to explore and learn about technology, end to end operations of how a multi national company manages all its supply chain activities, integrates various networks at a global level to become a successful enterprise. I got a chance to work with teams located in various parts of the world and I learnt a lot about business processes improvisation. I developed expertise in usage of MS-Office tools for business operations, enhanced my presentation skills, my communication skills and worked on automation of operations using ERPs like SAP, ORACLE and ANET (Internal reporting tool). This gave me a very strong understanding of operations management.The process in which I worked was all about R2R (Record to Report). I worked on providing resolution for GR-IR mismatches, work on corrective and preventive actions to avoid mismatches and recurring issues, worked with internal teams and fixed IT issues which caused regular fall outs and had millions of dollars impact on various books of accounts, Quality Evaluation of the work done, tracking Productivity and Efficiency of the teams and individuals, Handling various types of stringent audits every quarter, reporting facts and figures to the internal customers based in US & LAR.Overall my tenure in HP gave me a strong foundation to understand business activities in global market, management of supply chain and logistics, management of records and usage of advance technologies in a multi national company.
