Roles & ResponsibilitiesTransition and operational delivery of Month End close Management P&L reporting automation process into “three tier’ Model (country retained, Unilever Global reporting center and Third party service provider) for Asia and African region – for 30+ countries, 15+ billion EUR Turnover.Driving process improvements – projects aimed at driving Right Data and Right Information at Right time available to countries Business Finance Team, Country Category Business team, processes towards global benchmarks.Engage and drive usage of BW reports in the live countries financial analysis to help reduce manual works in counties. Also drive data quality and system performance to ensure BW usage.Managing the Change request (CR) to change/add in the SAP BW reports as per countries requirement. It is required detail information regard to changes and with business justification to implement those changes.Worked on design, logic for GMVA, Deflated turnover, Acquisition, Innovation, Sustainable and Disposal Turnover calculation in Automation projects as Global Finance SME.Independently and centrally managing the Annual SCOA and Reporting changes for all the AAR countries till go live with restatements.Involved in the various Global Finance projects for preparation and Design of RTM/FS, test script, training material, country engagement, testing and UAT sign off, go live implementation. The major projects are EFCR, Albion, Future Finance, NRM, CCBT, ZBB, Project Silver, Data Lake, IFRS 16.Sound knowledge in Product hierarchy, customer hierarchy Master data, mapping of data with sources.

Management Reporting – includesResponsible for delivering the Management P&L reporting end to end. (product, customer wise).Gross Margin variance analysis, Trade working capital, Operational cash flow statement, etc.Analysis of Deflated Turnover, Disposal Turnover, and Supply Chain cost, Advertising, Promotions and Indirect cost.Financial Reporting – includesResponsible for delivering the Financial reporting end to end, (Analysis of P&L (IS) from Turnover to Net profit/Loss).In depth, Preparation and Analysis of Balance sheet as per major transaction type. Preparation and explanation of Variance Analysis for Inventories, Debtors, Creditors, Fixed Assets, Borrowings, Investments, Loans, Cash and Cash equivalent and Provisions, etc.Preparation of Recon for Balance Sheet and Income Statement between SAP and BW Reports.

Works with Internal quality assurances team to ensure that all the R2R reconciliations met the client standards and at the same time highlight the risks and support to come out of issues. Roles & Responsibilities Business controls – reconciliations review for complete R2R, QA, deep dives, monthly metrics review.Acting as a facilitator for resolving the issues involved in the Reconciliations.Preparation and Publishing of External exception report and internal exception report on monthly basis after audit.Conducting the Refresh Reconciliation Training for the new joiner’sDiscussion of major accounts issues with Houston QA Team on weekly basis.Auditing of Checks and wires payments and ensure that all payments are approved by designated approver.Preparation and Testing of QCD (Quality Control Data base) of the process and publishing in the QCD website.Process reviews, particularly on problem processes with the objective of recommending improvements and enhancing the control/compliance environment.Preparation of various MIS Reports for the Management, these reports include the Trackers for Non-Reconciled and Partially Reconciled Accounts.

Monthly and Annual Financial Statement reporting, consolidation of subsidiaries results in Annual Plan and scenario analysis such as pricing sensitivity.
