Traveling Optician In Hampton Roads Area

This was a new company to the Hamptonroads area and I was a part of the very begining of Target Optical stores in Hamptonroads. My home store was Target Optical in HillTop Virginia Beach, but I traveled to different store locations in the Hamptonroads area. This has allowed me to have a versatile background in the wants and needs of different demographics across Hamptonroads. I enjoyed being a teamplayer at Target Optical and It was a fun and different company to work for. I made many different friends along the way and expanded my abilities as an optician with My time at Target Optical.

Gilbert Eye Care is a boutique eyecare practice and I loved the fun eyewear brands that we sold here, such as: Lafont, Jaguar, Betsy Johnson, Golden Wood, David Yurman, VonZipper and so many more. At Gilbert Eyecare, we used different lens products and lens styles. It was important to the owners of Gilbert Euecare to branch out and offer alternative eyecare products to their patients, it was important to the owners to set themselves a part from the rest of the eyecare businesses in Hamptonroads.

I fit and dispensed soft disposable contacts and rigid gas perm contacts. I filled in as a technician when I was needed and performed many tests that our patients needed.
