My work experience has been fully immersed in supply chain, from wedding dresses to the behemoth invisible hand of IBM that helps keep the world turning. I have been a global buyer for various categories working to negotiate rates, manage contracts and dazzle clients. Currently I am leveraging my experience as a buyer to establish a strategic partnership that will make the whole greater than the sum of the parts. I am working in the United States, Canada, EU and Japan to implement a new solution enabling hands free purchasing for low dollar items saving thousands of hours in buyer time. I am consistently seeking improvements for productivity by gleaning insights from analytics and talking to stakeholders. I am actively seeking out better ways to work rather than waiting for a problem to arise and then looking for solutions. I don’t ever want to hide behind technology or data and forget the brilliant people. I love leading teams towards the achievement of large goals, long term impact and extreme satisfaction.
