• Functional head, within the Retail Store Organization, whose primaryaccountability is to plan and implement all sales related activities.• Lead a retail team of Consultants at handling all sales related transactions.• Primarily responsible for executing sales tactical plans and other supportingactivities that would support delivery of set sales objectives. These entailsbeing well versed with all products and services, customers’ trends and needs,competitive landscape and offerings and provide regular product feedbacks toproduct owners. Will contribute to the development of sales tactical plans andlonger term sales strategies.• Coach and guide retail team to develop good questioning skills and othersales techniques essential to uncover customers’ needs and help themdiscover the right value proposition (products and services) that best meetthose needs. Pursue need-based selling technique, instead of conventionalhard selling approach, to improve a better match between customers’ needsand the offered solutions / value proposition, thus yielding higher customersatisfaction.• Create a work environment that motivates retail sales staff to excel andcontribute towards the attainment of individual and team sales targets.Expected to demonstrate excellent leadership, people management andcoaching skills by being on the floor to (a) coordinate in store sales activitiesand (b) readily offer support and assistance to sales staff when required,including on the job training. Support employees to tackle issues andencourage continuous exploration of process improvement initiatives.• As a frontline staff, position holder shall strive to uphold principles of MaxisSignature Service to support the delivery a brand of customer service thatwould position Maxis Store as the “ultimate experiential centre” in the country.
