 Planning and designing healthcare projects according to agreed international hospital standards. Review architectural hospital designs and examine room floor areas, equipment maneuverability, critical dimensions of activity, and circulation spaces to ascertain the functionality of design. Prepare medical systems reports which demonstrate the intended technologies to be used in healthcare projects and the types of medical equipment modalities that eventually affect medical planning. Prepare medical equipment placement drawings - illustrating the distribution of all medical equipments. Prepare Room Data Requirements – including electromechanical service requirements in coordination with other engineering disciplines. Prepare bills of quantity reports for the various categories of medical equipment and furniture on a room by room, department by department and entire hospital basis. Participates in installations and updates of medical devices when required, including those requiring software revision. Provides technical feedback for device evaluation.
