• Design, Develop, test and implement rich e-commerce web applications.• Identify client requirements and proactively suggest improvements in order to achieve better customer satisfaction.• Develop Web-based prototypes in order to find potential clients. • Interface web applications to work with company accounting system.• Interface web application to external logistics supplier systems and third-party warehousing systems. • Interface online catalogue systems with client internal systems via Web Services.• Maintain Company Web servers, Database Servers etc.• Consult and mentor the team on new technology, architecture, new web application development, database tuning and all other technical requirements. • Manage the team, allocate resources and provide estimation of work• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management

• Carryout the systems development life cycle of all IT business projects approved by the IT Steering Group for the relevant area (Analysing, Designing, Coding, Testing, Implementing & Training) to fulfil business requirement• Identify user requirements and proactively suggest improvements in order to improve the business processes in the relevant business area• Provide support/ trouble shoot group of companies on Web Developement• Provide support on operational problems to end users, for in-house, developed and out-sourced systems, in the relevant business area• Maintain in-house developed systems & perform enhancements as and when required• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management

• User requirements gathering• Carry out Detailed feasibility study• Analyse, design, develop, test and implement software systems• Database management in accordance with other DHL software systems• Maintain new and existing software systems• Conduct User training & presentation to the management and the system users• Provide system documentations• Maintain company File Server, Print Server, Mail Server & Proxy Server• Daily report generation• Maintain/Monitor the performance of the main data link between country office (Sri Lanka) and IT Centre in Malaysia with the support of SITA Communications
