As a Practice Manager at Tara Road Medical Centre, I lead a team of health professionals and support staff in providing quality care and education to patients with health conditions. I am responsible for the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of the centre, including budgeting, invoicing, reporting, and compliance. I also oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. I have a strong background in biomedical science and public health, having completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours from the University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Biomedical Science majoring in Functional Human Biology from the University of Otago. I have developed a level of expertise in communication, administration, and business, as well as a passion for improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities. My goal is to continue to explore and expand my knowledge and skills in the health sector, and to contribute to the wellbeing of the community.
