Collated, analysed and manipulated national data i.e. police data and Data Cube data from Department for Education is at LSOA level so had to disaggregate data to be reflective of Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Combined Authority geographies for publications and Business Strategy priorities to measure local performance in comparison to national across a variety of indicators: population, demographic, education, health, crime and land indicators. Liaised with Government departments (Department for International Trade, Department for Education and Cabinet Office), ONS statisticians, Chambers of Commerce, Public Health England ensuring best practice methods are adopted in collating LEP geography and Combined Authority level data and identifying data gaps.Supported regional intelligence and policy development through the application of new models and methodologies including economic modelling using economic forecasting models, cost benefit analysis tools whilst using secondary data / databases and local intelligence to inform analysis. Developed and presented dashboards on local growth of businesses, productivity and overall performance of the Black Country, WMCA and local authorities.
