Technologies for Social Innovation (TechSoI) is limited company originated from two JICA projects (SENSE & IGPF). TechSoi Ltd. aims to alleviate poverty through adoption of self-sustained poison free vegetable project over abandoned and leasehold land by “PRANTIK FARMERS” blending ICT Mechanism to materialize the broad aim of Digital Bangladesh.I was one of the founding Partner of the Company. Key Accomplishments:• Created farmer groups who are cultivated safe agro products in their own land with technical help from us. I have established such groups in two districts of Bangladesh namely Gazipur and Jashore.• Established an ecommerce site for selling safe products of those farmers with maintaining a proper supply chain from production field to selling point of Dhaka.• Established few weekly markets in different office premises of Dhaka. Moreover, I have supplied safe products to superstores in Dhaka.• Maintained a good relationship with local government agricultural offices to get support from their technical persons.

I possess a strong understanding of agroforestry practices and principles, gained through my education and hands-on experience working in this field. I am skilled in identifying and analyzing environmental, social, and economic factors that impact agroforestry systems, and in designing and implementing sustainable and profitable solutions that benefit both the land and its communities. My excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow me to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to achieve shared goals.As an agroforestry consultant, I will help clients develop and implement sustainable land management practices that incorporate trees and other perennial crops. This may involve:* Conducting site assessments to determine the best approach for incorporating trees into a particular landscape, based on factors such as soil type, climate, and land use history.* Developing agroforestry management plans that include recommendations for tree species, spacing, planting and management techniques, and other practices to optimize yields and ecological benefits.* Coordinating with other stakeholders, including farmers, landowners, extension agents, and government agencies, to ensure successful implementation of agroforestry practices.* Providing ongoing support and advice to clients as they implement and manage their agroforestry systems, including troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.* Advocating for agroforestry as a sustainable land management practice, and working with policymakers and funding agencies to secure support for agroforestry projects.

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and Bridge for Billions, along with the support of Partnerships For Forests (P4F), have joined forces to create an incubation program that will support up to 50 enterprises with the potential to restore natural ecosystems. The Restoration Factory has been created to support the emergence of commercially-viable, community-inclusive, and climate-resilient businesses that restore ecosystems and preserve landscapes.

Practical Action is an innovative international development group, putting ingenious ideas to work with communities to develop ingenious, lasting and locally owned solutions for agriculture, water and waste management, climate resilience and clean energy.I was hired as Technical Officer-Agroforestry for a Project of UNDP, titled “Support to Host Communities Affected by Rohingya Influx Project (SHARIP)” and this project was funded by DANIDA.Key Accomplishments:• Plan and design agroforestry activities in coastal, hilly and plain areas• Trained 25 youth and Established 25 community plant nurseries in Cox’s Bazar• Distributed 100000 (One lac) tree seedlings to communities of Cox’s Bazar.• Drafted and Implemented 13230 Homestead Agroforestry Development Plan and 441 Social Agroforestry Development Plan in Ukhiya, Ramu Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar• Trained and Capacity Development of 147 Farmer Facilitators on Homestead Agroforestry and Social Agroforestry• Observed World Environment Day in 441 Communities involving 13230 farmers & Government stakeholders.• Trained and supported 30 Vermicompost Producing Entrepreneurs to establish as an enterprise. • Trained and supported 30 High-Value Crops Producers.

Practical Action is an innovative international development group, putting ingenious ideas to work with communities to develop ingenious, lasting and locally owned solutions for agriculture, water and waste management, climate resilience and clean energy.I was hired as Senior Project Officer for a Project of UN WOMEN, titled “Gender Responsive Climate Resilient Agriculture under EmPower Project” and this project was funded by Sweden Government.Key Accomplishments:• Identified and Built a database of 1200 climate-vulnerable women farmers in flood-prone and cyclone-prone areas.• Developed a Climate Resilient training module on Six Agricultural Enterprises for Farmers• Trained and Capacity Development of 8 call center agents, 19 local facilitators, 200 women farmers 6 nursery growers on Climate Resilient Agriculture Technologies.• Established 8 Farmer Field Schools on Climate Smart Agriculture.• Conducted a training need assessment on climate smart agriculture and Early Warning, weather risks• Organized 2 Framer Field Days on Climate Smart Agricultural Technologies.• Provided input support among 200 women farmers.• Delivered 22,000 text messages, and 19,500 cases of out bound dialing (OBD) under the agro-advisory and climate information service targeting 14 women-led CSOs and 1474 women farmers.• Developed four technical briefs on Climate Smart Agriculture Technologies.• Developed four short videos on Climate Smart Agriculture Technologies.

“Support to Establish a New Society of BOP farmers by using the power of ICT (SENSE)” is a project of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It was implemented in five districts of Bangladesh by Kyushu University, Japan in collaboration with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BMSRAU), Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI), Grameen Communications and Win Incorporate.I was hired as Technical Manager for this JICA project. Key Accomplishments:• Managed the project activities of five districts about safe agro products.• Created 5 farmer groups in five districts for producing safe agro products.• Established supply chain for bringing safe agro products from rural area to Dhaka for better marketing.• Used ICT based framework for better monitoring of the project activities.• Created a good link with super stores for selling agro products in Dhaka.• Developed a model for increase the traceability of the agro products.• Established a good relationship with Department of Agriculture Extension, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, Banghubondhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman Agriculture University and Kyushu University (Japan).
