I’m also a holder of an Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved program provided at El Camino College. As an immigrant from El Salvador, Central America, I write, read and speak fluently in Spanish. Hence, I believe that my bilingual skills will allow me to communicate and to form stronger bonds with the company’s clients and staff members. I also possess excellent customer service skills after working in the fast-food industry during the four years that I was completing my undergraduate studies. Working in the fast-food industry as a Crew Trainer equipped me with confidence to perform tasks that I once believed to be difficult and with patience to work under pressure. As I am aware of my potential and of my priorities, I believe that I will find no trouble working both with my clients and with my co-workers. As part of my relevant experience, I have interned at the Self-Help Center of the Compton Courthouse. This internship taught me how to professionally assist self-represented litigants with their legal paper-works under the supervision of an on-site attorney. Since I’m already used to a courthouse’s professional and fast-paced environment, I believe that it will not be complicated for me to adjust to a new professional workplace.
